3 arrested after teen gunned down in St. Martinville home

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KADN) — St. Martinville police said three suspects have been arrested after a teen was shot to death in a St. Martinville home.

Investigators said Ravonte Narcisse, 20, was the third suspect wanted for the shooting death of Javonte "Buck" Anthony, 18, on Washington Street on Saturday, August 3, around 8:15 p.m. He turned himself in to authorities on Sunday, August 11, and is charged with second-degree murder.

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KADN) — St. Martinville police need the public’s help to solve a deadly weekend shooting. The victim was identified as Javonte’ Anthony, 18, of St. Martinville. He was shot and killed inside a home on Washington Street. His family is now begging for justice.

Authorities said two other suspects were previously arrested. They added Barry Bickham III, 21, was arrested and booked into the parish jail on a charge of second-degree murder. They also said Billy Queen, 20, turned himself in to police and was booked on charges of obstruction of justice to second-degree murder (2 counts) and malfeasance in office.

Police noted Queen is a correctional officer at the Office of Juvenile Justice Detention Center in St. Martinville. They added he was still in the probationary phase of employment.
